Founded over 100 years ago, the Pforzheim-based manufacturer Leo Wittwer stands for traditional craftsmanship of the highest quality as well as the most modern design. In his work, owner and creative director Frank Maier picks up on moods from all over the world, which he translates into subtle-elegant or sporty-casual designs. Jeweller Schroll and the manufacturer Leo Wittwer have been working together for over 30 years. Above all, the partners have one thing in common: as family businesses that span generations, both companies uphold their values, above all uncompromising quality. Allow yourself to be enchanted by Leo Wittwer’s jewellery art when you visit Schroll jewellers!
It is nothing less than the historical foundation of the manufactory: the very first piece of jewellery of the house was a cross designed by Leo Wittwer on the occasion of the founding of his company in 1920. 70 years later, the current owner and Creative Director Frank Maier reworked the piece of jewellery in such a sensational way that it quickly became a hit. To this day, the cross enjoys the greatest popularity as an icon of the manufacture par excellence.
Men are also the focus of the manufacture: for a long time now, Leo Wittwer has paid special attention to a masculine collection that is stylish, unusual and always very individual. It ranges from simple bangles made of white gold to masculine interpretations of the cross with accents of blackened gold and a diamond in an exclusive princess cut to modern variations of the internationally popular tennis band with a stylish mix of black and white diamonds.
Think big! Frank Maier does not follow any rigid rules when it comes to design, but rather freely picks up inspirations in order to consistently realise them as a piece of jewellery. That is why the iconic cross of the manufactory is available in a wide variety of versions – from delicate, very personal pieces of jewellery to large eye-catchers completely set with diamonds, which demonstrate the jewellery art of the manufactory in the most beautiful way and are also very popular with customers from show business.
Modern design meets traditional craftsmanship at the Leo Wittwer manufactory. A team of specialists performs the highest level of craftsmanship here, from the meticulous polishing of exceptionally smooth ring settings to the elaborate setting of large pavés. “Beauty is not only created by good design,” explains Frank Maier, “the highest quality, know-how and corporate philosophy are also manifested in every creation of our house.”
