1985: Paris
Frank Maiers comes to Paris, where he holds talks with illustrious companies such as Chanel and Nina Ricci on behalf of the manufactory. When looking at the Eiffel Tower, the young designer came up with an idea that has shaped his work to this day: the unusual construction of the Paris icon served as inspiration for the design of the cross, which was created later in 1989, in the form of the unusual grating on the back of the trailer.
